ADDITION OF TWO THREE DIGIT NUMBER

METHOD

STEP.1 – Add the ‘Ones’ first.

3 Ones +  2 Ones = 5 Ones

Write 5 in the ‘Ones’ column

STEP.2 -  Then add the ‘Tens’.

 2 Tens + 4 Tens = 6 Tens.

Write 6 in the ‘Tens’ column

                                 STEP.3 – Now add the ‘Hundreds’

                            1 Hundred + 0 Hundred = 1 Hundred

                              Write 1 in the ‘Hundreds’ column.

So, the obtained result is 165.

ADDITION OF 3 (THREE) DIGIT NUMBERS

METHOD

STEP.1 – Add the ‘Ones’ first.

5 Ones +  3 Ones = 8 Ones

Write 8 in the ‘Ones’ column

STEP.2 -Then add the ‘Tens’.

  4 Tens + 5 Tens = 9 Tens.

  Write 9 in the ‘Tens’ column.

STEP.3 - Now add the 'Hundreds'

               2 Hundred + 1 Hundred = 3 Hundred

               Write 3 in the ‘Hundreds’ column.

So, the obtained result of the two triple digit number is 398.
