CONCEPT OF NUMBER

Number is an only digit or addition or summation of digit, numbers is the only way to describe the quantity of any object or any product. Now we will learn how to describe or split the numbers.

Example.1    84= 80 + 4 = 8 Tens and 4 Ones.

Example.2    67 = 60 + 7 = 6 Tens and 4 Ones.

Example.3    58 = 50 + 8 = 5 Tens and 8 Ones.

Example.4    46 = 40 + 6 = 4 Tens and 6 Ones.

Example.5    73 = 70 + 3 = 7 Tens and 3 Ones.


Bigger number and smaller number

Bigger number is more or most in numbers than others. For example number 1 is bigger than 0 and any number is bigger than 1. For example 8 is bigger than 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.  As well as 9 is bigger than 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.

0 is smaller than any number like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10…………..

5 are smaller than 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12……. and bigger than 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 .

Similarly 9 is bigger than 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and smaller than 10 , 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16…………..

Every double digit number is bigger than single digit number and smaller than triple or three digit number. For example 58 is bigger than 9 but smaller than 100.

Circle bigger number-

1)     18, 9, 10          2) 6 , 9 , 5        3)  39 , 10 , 25 , 32

 

Circle smaller number -

1)  8 , 9 , 12          2)  8 , 9 , 11 , 24         3)  10 , 24 , 9 , 8
