Multiplication on number line –
Multiplication on number line is nothing but very primary concept of understanding about process or concept of multiplication. If we wish to -
1) Multiply 4 by 2,
It’s means 4 jumps of 2 steps each.
So, 4 jumps of 2 = 4 X 2 = 8
2) Multiply 3 by 3
It’s means 3 jumps of 3 steps each.
So, 3 jumps of 3 = 3 X 3 = 9
3) Multiply 4 by 3
It’s means 4 jumps of 3 steps each.
So, 4 jumps of 3 = 4 X 3 = 12
4) Multiply 3 by 4
It’s means 3 jumps of 4 steps each.
So, 3 jumps of 4 = 3 X 4 = 12
5) Multiply 2 by 6.
It’s means 2 jumps of 6 steps each.
So, 2 jumps of 6 = 2 X 6 = 12
