METHOD -

STEP.1 – Add the ‘Ones’ first

9 Ones +  8 Ones = 17 Ones

17 Ones = 1 ‘Ten’ 7 ‘Ones’

Write 7 in the ‘Ones’ column and take 1 Ten to the ‘Tens’ column

STEP.2 – Then Add the ‘Tens’

            1 Ten (Carried over) + 5 Tens + 9 Tens = 15 ‘Tens’

            15 Tens = 1 Hundred 5 Tens

            Write 5 in the ‘Tens’ column and take 1 To the

            The ‘ Hundred’ column.

STEP.3 – Now add the ‘Hundreds’

           1 Hundred (Carried over)  + 7 Hundreds + 7 Hundreds
