MULTIPLICATION OF OF FRACTIONS -
To multiply a fraction by a whole number, we multiply the numerator of the fraction by the whole number and the denominator of the fraction by 1. The first product thus obtained becomes the numerator and the second product becomes the denominator of the required product.
