PROPERTIES OF MULTIPLICATION :-
1. The product of a number by 1 is always the number itself.
Example: 8,22,792 x 1 = 8,22,792
2. The product of any number by zero is always zero.
Example: 25,765 x 0 = 0
3. The product of two numbers does not change when we change the order of numbers. (Commutative Property of Multiplication)
Example: 25 x 30 = 750 and 30 x 25 = 750
∴ 25 x 30 = 30 x 25
4. The product of three numbers does not change when we change their grouping. (Associative property of Multiplication)
Example: (25 x 20) x 40 = 500 x 40 = 20,000
25 x (20 x 40) = 25 x 800 = 20,000
(25 x 40 ) x 20 = 1000 x 20 = 20,000
