Rules -

1)  The Indian Place Value table is followed in India.

2)  Read the Place Value Table starting from the ones place three times.

3)  Commas are placed at the end of each period.

Ones period has three places — ones, tens, hundreds. Thousands period has two places — thousands, ten thousands. Lakhs period has two places — lakhs, ten lakhs.

Crores period has two places — crores, ten crores.

4)  Putting Commas is Must.
