Ans.) Bar Graph based on number of pet 

b) What is the total of children?

Ans.) Rabbit = 4

         Dog = 8

         Cat = 10

         Goldfish = 6

         Hamster = 5

So, total children = (4 + 8 + 10 + 6 + 5) = 33

c) What is the most popular pet?

Ans.) Cat is the most popular pet

d) What pet was the less popular?

Ans.) Rabbit is the less popular pet

e) How many students don't like rabbits?

Ans.) 4 number of students like rabbit. So, number of students dislike rabbit is = (33 - 4) = 29

f) How many students like dogs?

Ans.) 8 students like dogs

Example.2) An ice cream store kept track of the different flavored ice-cream cones sold in a day. They recorded the results in the bar graph below, Use the graph to answer the question -

i) How many vanilla cones were sold?

Ans.)  2 vanilla cones sold

ii) Were there more vanilla or mint cones sold?

Ans.) Vanilla sold = 2, and mint sold = 3, so, mint flavored more sold than vanilla (3 > 2)

iii) Were there fewer chocolate or orange cone sold?

Ans.) Chocolate flavor sold = 5, and Orange flavor sold = 1, so chocolate sold more than orange flavored cone, (5 > 1)

iv) Which flavored sold exactly 3 cones?

Ans.) Mint flavored cone sold exactly 3 units

v) Which flavored sold most ?

Ans.) Cotton candy flavored cone sold the most

vi) Which flavor sold least?

Ans.) Orange flavor sold least

Example.3) There is some bar graph presentation given below, please answer the following question. 

1) Which is the least favorite color?

Ans.) Green is the least favorite color, as only 5 children like green color

2) Which color has the greatest number of votes?

Ans.) Yellow, because 9 students like yellow color which is highest

3) How many children's favorite color is blue?

Ans.)  7 student's favorite color is blue.

4) How many children's favorite color is green & pink?

Ans.) Green = 5, and Pink = 6

So, 5 student's favorite color is Green & Pink

5) How many more children's favorite color is red than green?

Ans.)  Red = 8, and Green = 5.

here, 8 - 5 = 3 more children like Red color than Green.
