GRAPHING - NUMBER LINE -

Graphing basically means mathematical relationships and turning the min to pictures or in other words visual representation of data set. Graph help sus to see the data/relationship more clearly.

In lower classes, we have already studied Number Line.

(Horizontal line). Number line consists of zero, positive numbers as we move towards our right and negative numbers as we move towards our left.

Now, let us consider two number-lines and they intersect each other at their zero points. The figure so obtained is called number plane. It is 2 - dimensional version of a number-line.

In number line we can show various numbers along then umber-line and we need only one point, where as in 2- dimensional number-plane we can plot any number of points anywhere in that area.
