DIVISION OF INTEGERS

Division of Integers

If an integer is divided by an integer of the opposite sign then the quotient is a negative integer whose absolute value is founded by dividing the absolute value of the integers.

If ‘x’ is any integer then x ÷ (-1) = - x

If ‘x’ is any nonzero integer than 0 ÷ x = 0
