ACUTE ANGLE TRIANGLE

ACUTE ANGLE TRIANGLE -

An acute triangle is a triangle in which all three interior angles are less than 90°. Here are its key properties:

  • All angles are acute:- Each of the three angles is less than 90°, but their sum is still 180°, as with all triangles.
  • Types of acute triangles:-

         a) Equilateral acute triangle:- All angles are 60°, making it both equilateral and acute.

         b) Scalene acute triangle:- All sides and angles are different, but each angle remains less than 90°.

         c) Isosceles acute triangle:- Two sides are of equal length, and all angles are less than 90°.

  • No right or obtuse angles:- By definition, an acute triangle cannot have an angle of 90° or more.
  • Height:- Each altitude (height) of the triangle lies inside the triangle.

Acute triangles are often associated with well-balanced shapes and are frequently used in geometry.
