The perimeter (P) of a square PQRS.
= PQ + QR + RS + PS
= 4 PQ [ all the sides are equal ]
= 4 X length of any side
Perimeter (P) = 4 X length of any one side (a)
P = 4a, or a = P/4
Are of a Square –
If the area of any square is –
If the area of a square be A and the length of its side be a then,
A = a²,
or a = √A
