To Find The Squares & Square Roots of Numbers Using The Table –

Approximate values of the squares and the square roots of numbers may be found by using a square table, the degree of accuracy depending on the number of significant figures given by the table.

From the above square table, we can find that, the numbers such as 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81, 100, etc. are perfectly square and their square roots are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, etc., respectively.
